Running Hindi teaching classes for non-Hindi speaking children

Our organization has Hindi teaching classes for non- Hindi-speaking people. Our national language is Hindi. But our state of Tamilnadu focuses only on the regional language of Tamil. At the same time our state people are interested in learning Hindi. All types of students search for jobs in other states. So, Hindi language is much needed. But not able to avail opportunities to learn Hindi. Therefore, our organization has Hindi teaching classes for non-Hindi speaking people. This programme supported by Central Directorate of Hindi Education, New Delhi.

Free silambam and Yoga classes to poor children

Our organization is providing Silambam and Yoga classes to poor children in rural areas to help them utilize their vacation time productively. This training improves physical and mental health. At the same time, since immunity is naturally boosted, they are able to fight off diseases more easily. Therefore, this training is very beneficial, and the students learn happily and with interest. Recently, the Indian government has included Silambam in the list of sports. Furthermore, the Tamil Nadu government has provided a 3% reservation in government jobs for those who have trained in Silambam.

Water, Sanitation and Hygienic (WAWH)Awareness programme to poor students The government provides free books, uniforms, and necessary educational supplies. However, it did not provide underwear to poor students. At the same time, these poor students could not afford to buy underwear. These students were unaware of water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) practices. They did not maintain proper personal hygiene. Therefore, Vision Foundation, recognizing the situation, and with the support of the Shamdasani Foundation of Hong Kong, is donating underwear to poor students and providing WASH awareness, particularly focusing on personal hygiene.
