Providing nutrition food to adolescent girls for health education

Now the current situation, every family does not care for the adolescent girls. Because of not time spent to their health care. So, adolescents girls affected may health issues like anemia, menses problems etc. This trend is not only in the city and also in villages. So, our volunteers have frequently met the adolescent girls in the various areas to provide the motivation counseling to lead a happy life. Our Vision Foundation provides nutrition food and health management to poor adolescent girls with support of likeminded people

Conducting General Eye Camp for Rural poor women

Our target population is illiterate and unskilled. These people are not aware of health and hygiene. Especially about eye care. Because many people suffer from eye diseases, cataracts etc. Therefore, Vision Foundation conducted a public eye camp for poor rural women. 150 women participated in this camp. 40-year-old women were referred for free cataract surgery. This project was developed in collaboration with Agarwal Eye Hospital, Madurai.

HIV/AIDS education and prevention program

As a student-friendly initiative, Vision Foundation, in collaboration with Mercury Phoenix Trust UK, is planning a sustainable integrated HIV/AIDS education and prevention program in partnership with the Education and Health Departments. To educate our target beneficiaries about HIV/AIDS prevention, we conduct awareness sessions on HIV/AIDS, teenage pregnancy, and substance abuse, along with life skills education within classrooms. Awareness will be created in 10 Panchayat community centers regarding the necessity, need, and importance of this program. Furthermore, we will mobilize ANC/PNC mothers and their eligible spouses in 10 primary health centers to conduct orientation programs on the possibilities and potential methods of preventing mother-to-child transmission of HIV/AIDS.
