National Seminar on cybercrime against women and girl students

Our organization, in collaboration with Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar College, is conducting a webinar on cybercrimes for female students under a project funded by the National Commission for Women (NCW) in New Delhi. The internet has also become a social and communication tool, with many young people interacting socially through popular social networking sites. They become addicted to these online social activities and are vulnerable to cybercrimes. This awareness program explores the complexities and issues of cybercrimes / violence against women and girls, and outlines prevention strategies and ways to combat them with the support of collaborative forces.

Providing Educational Materials to Adolescent girls for encourage them to higher education

The Vision Foundation team, with the support of OTF Canada, is providing experimental kits to science students, geometry sets to mathematics students, geography books to social science students, and dictionaries to language weak skills. This program helps young adolescent girls aged 16 to 18 from tribal communities studying in grades 11 and 12 in government girls’ higher secondary schools to successfully complete their practical classes and also encourages them to pursue higher education. Young female students from underprivileged, poor, and denotified tribal communities in rural areas are benefiting from this educational program

National Workshop on Role of Indian Laws in women empowerment

Vision Foundation is conducting a national workshop on the role of Indian laws in women’s empowerment at PMT College, Usilampatti. This workshop will discuss women’s empowerment, including educational advancement, political awareness, decision-making skills, entrepreneurship, and professional skill development. This will be highly beneficial for the women and students in our target group. This event is being organized in collaboration with the Madurai chapter of the Indian Society of Criminology and Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi.

Capacity building & Personality development Program for UG / PG girl students

With the support of the National Commission for Women (NCW), New Delhi, a 10-day national online seminar on skill development and personality development for undergraduate and postgraduate female students is being conducted at PMT Arts and Science College in Usilampatti, Madurai district, Tamil Nadu. This program will be highly beneficial in completely transforming the future lives of female college students.
